Lasik

Going for Lasik Surgery at Lasik Surgery Clinic tomorrow...
Went for my free eye evaluation in Apr promotion and passed the evaluation... At that time the surgery cost $2.3k without GST... Lucky i planned my surgery tomorrow because the price drop from $2.3k to $2188 b4 GST.... That's a saving of $112.... :)

Getting excited and scare.... Excited because i can get a 6/6 vision or even better eye sight without glasses and contact lens after the surgery... Scare because my eye sight may get worst if the surgery fail...

Hope to see the result tomorrow.... :)

FA Cup Final

Portsmouth 1-0 Cardiff

Kanu's first-half goal won the FA Cup for Portsmouth against Cardiff City in a low-key final at Wembley.

The Nigerian scrambled home the winner at the near post eight minutes before half-time after Cardiff keeper Peter Enckelman fumbled John Utaka's cross.

Cardiff enjoyed possession but rarely posed a serious threat, although Glenn Loovens had a goal ruled out for handball in first-half injury time.

And Portsmouth held on to claim the trophy for the first time since 1939.

Portsmouth's win earned them a place in next season's Uefa Cup - their first European adventure.

Diving ( Pool Session)

Previous night went DBLO drink with kenny and jo knowing today got diving lesson.

Late for the lesson at mount faber Safra, 2 reason... 1st went for breakfast, 2nd met a lizard in my car dashboard just in front of my steering wheel. Dunno how the lizard got into the car quite big size, so shock when i saw it when driving and quite distracting. I kept my eyes on the lizard and road as i drive coz i scare the lizard come toward me. Suddenly the lizard turn his head toward me with his mouth wide open, nb i quickly filter to the bus stop and had a battle with it. took bout 10mins to get the lizard out of my car using my umbrella.... then quickly step on the accelerator toward mount faber safra.

upon reaching the safra the instructor wanted us to swim for 200m continuously and then trap water for 10mins. i took quite long to complete the 200m, after that trap water for 10mins... damn tired plus leg cramp... think is the aftermath of previous day 6km run and nite drinking.
once completing the test the instructor straight away start his explanation on the diving equipment, but then i already not feeling well so i ask instructor to stop and i head toward the wash rm to vomit. After vomiting feel better and continue with the lesson.
Learning the tactic to clear the mask water, remove/wear the equipment in the water, emergency situation, sharing of air.

Quite fun diving but cannot control the movement in the water wearing the flipper plus leg keep on cramp. When diving inside the pool can see babes swimming across.... swee oh.... own time own target carry on.
Is a good experience and i recommend all to give it a try to learn diving.

*note : No alcohol when u learn diving ar bo u will be like me vomiting. haha

Manchester United lift the Premier League trophy
Manchester United retained the title on the last day of the season

Manchester United retained the Premier League title by beating Wigan 2-0 in their final game on Sunday.

Runners-up Chelsea, who could only draw 1-1 with Bolton, have qualified for the Champions League, as have third-placed Arsenal and fourth-placed Liverpool.

Everton will take part in the Uefa Cup next season after finishing fifth in the table, as will Carling Cup winners Tottenham, and the winners of the FA Cup - either Portsmouth or Championship side Cardiff.

Tottenham's Jonathan Woodgate lifts the Carling Cup
Tottenham were the first team to book their European place

After England topped Europe's fair play rankings, an additional Uefa Cup place will be awarded to the best-behaved Premier League team that has not already automatically qualified for European competition - and Manchester City were in pole position going into the final games.

Sixth-placed Aston Villa are set to enter the Intertoto Cup, whose winners also qualify for the Uefa Cup.

Derby were the first club in England to be relegated when they drew 2-2 with Fulham on 29 March, and they will be joined in the Championship by Reading and Birmingham, who both went down on the last day of the season despite winning their final games.

How to solve a Rubik's Cube (Part One)

How to solve a Rubik's Cube (Part Two)

Rubiks Cube

The world's most famous puzzle, simultaneously beloved and despised for it's beautiful simple complexity, the Rubiks Cube has been frustrating gamers since Erno Rubik invented it back in 1974. Over the years many brave gamers have whole-heartedly taken up the challenge to restore a mixed Rubik's cube to it's colorful and perfect original configuration, only to find the solution lingering just out of their grasp time and time again. After spending hours and days twisting and turning the vaunted cube in vain, many resorted to removing and replacing the multi-colored facelets of the cube in a dastardly attempt to cheat the seemingly infallible logic of the cube, while others simply tossed it to the side and dubbed it impossible. The Rubik's cube, it seemed, had defeated all.

Humanity required a solution, so intelligent gamers went to work to take down the so-called "frustration cube". Amazingly, not only did they discover a solution, they formulated many of them, ranging from beginner-level to advanced. One of these bright bulbs was Denny Dedmore (formerly of VirtualPuzzleMuseum.com). Not only did he discover an efficient and fool-proof solution for solving the cube, he also provided several amazing "algorithms" (move-sequences) which made following his talented solution very simple. Mr. Dedmore completed his now easy-to-master solution by inventing the brilliant move notation found throughout the guide, which made explaining the various twists and turns necessary to solve the Rubiks cube visually understandable.

Real secure 31st title

Real leave it late to secure 31st title
Lucky Lucky madrid.... Heng ar coz i took real.... last 3mins score 2 goal....

Real Madrid fought their way back after a sending off and going a goal down to snatch a dramatic 2-1 victory at Osasuna and win their 31st league title on Sunday.

With Villarreal beating Getafe 2-0 in an earlier match, Real had to win the game to take the title but suffered a major setback when defender Fabio Cannavaro was sent off at the start of the second half. Real looked to be in serious trouble when Osasuna midfielder Patxi Punal struck home from the penalty spot after Gabriel Heinze had handled in the area with eight minutes to go. But Dutch winger Arjen Robben equalised with three minutes to go, heading in after Gonzalo Higuain whipped a free kick into the area and the Argentine struck the winner when he lashed past Ricardo with a minute to go.

EPL

Following Saturday's 4-1 win over West Ham, Manchester United lead the Premier League by three points, meaning victory against Wigan next will secure them the title.

Chelsea, who face Newcastle on Monday, must realistically win their remaining two fixtures and hope United drop points to beat them to the trophy, but Arsenal are now definitely out of the title race.

Reading, Birmingham and Fulham are battling to avoid the drop, with Bolton virtually safe after a win over Sunderland.

Lasik

LASIK Surgery
LASIK stands for Laser-Assisted in-situ Keratomileusis. Many people love the idea of getting rid of their glasses and contacts, but they cringe at the thought of having a procedure performed on their eyes. With time tested technology and fine-tuned surgical skill, this procedure is one of the safest, most effective eye treatments available.

What is LASIK surgery exactly?
It’s the use of a laser beam to modify the shape of your cornea such that your vision will improve. So let’s look at how our vision works, why it might be less than perfect, and how LASIK surgery changes it.

The Benefits of LASIK
Just imagine being able to read a menu, see the street signs, or read the clock on the wall without glasses or contacts! For many people, clear vision without help seemed impossible, until advancements in LASIK made it more accessible and safer than ever before. After just a few minutes, you can see the world in a new light with clear vision. Just think about what life would be like without the hassle of worrying where you put your glasses, or the daily routine of cleaning and putting in contacts. And just think of the money you’ll save over your lifetime when you don’t have to order new glasses and lenses. The possibilities are endless! If you’re an active person, you’ll no longer have to worry about your eyes when you’re running, swimming, or playing sports. Glasses and contacts are fine for temporary correction, but nothing comes close to natural vision. Just ask anyone who’s had LASIK. It’s like a whole new world!

May Day

Today is May Day and is a public holiday. In case you all do not know why we celebrated May Day and treated as a public holiday please read below.

May Day is celebrated and recognized as the International Workers’ day, chosen over 100 years ago to commemorate the struggles and gains of workers and the labour movement. Most notable reasons to celebrate are the 8-hour day, Saturday as part of the weekend, improved working conditions and child labor laws. But these gains were not attained without the solidarity of workers.

As workers, we must recognize and commemorate May Day not only for its historical significance, but also as a time to organize and speak out around issues that are impacting working-class people today.

Through the many artistic disciplines of the festival, May Week provides people with the information, education and inspiration to make positive changes in our local and global communities.

Champion League

Chelsea 3-2 Liverpool (4-3)

Didier Drogba bagged a brace as Chelsea swept into
their first Champions League final at the expense of Liverpool on a night of high drama at Stamford Bridge.

The Ivorian opened the scoring with a 12-yard strike, but Fernando Torres's drive sent the game into extra-time.

Frank Lampard restored the lead from the spot after Michael Ballack had been felled, before Drogba prodded a third.

Ryan Babel's 35-yarder prompted a tense finale, but Chelsea held on to seal a tie with Manchester United in Moscow.
