Real secure 31st title

Real leave it late to secure 31st title
Lucky Lucky madrid.... Heng ar coz i took real.... last 3mins score 2 goal....

Real Madrid fought their way back after a sending off and going a goal down to snatch a dramatic 2-1 victory at Osasuna and win their 31st league title on Sunday.

With Villarreal beating Getafe 2-0 in an earlier match, Real had to win the game to take the title but suffered a major setback when defender Fabio Cannavaro was sent off at the start of the second half. Real looked to be in serious trouble when Osasuna midfielder Patxi Punal struck home from the penalty spot after Gabriel Heinze had handled in the area with eight minutes to go. But Dutch winger Arjen Robben equalised with three minutes to go, heading in after Gonzalo Higuain whipped a free kick into the area and the Argentine struck the winner when he lashed past Ricardo with a minute to go.

EPL

Following Saturday's 4-1 win over West Ham, Manchester United lead the Premier League by three points, meaning victory against Wigan next will secure them the title.

Chelsea, who face Newcastle on Monday, must realistically win their remaining two fixtures and hope United drop points to beat them to the trophy, but Arsenal are now definitely out of the title race.

Reading, Birmingham and Fulham are battling to avoid the drop, with Bolton virtually safe after a win over Sunderland.

Lasik

LASIK Surgery
LASIK stands for Laser-Assisted in-situ Keratomileusis. Many people love the idea of getting rid of their glasses and contacts, but they cringe at the thought of having a procedure performed on their eyes. With time tested technology and fine-tuned surgical skill, this procedure is one of the safest, most effective eye treatments available.

What is LASIK surgery exactly?
It’s the use of a laser beam to modify the shape of your cornea such that your vision will improve. So let’s look at how our vision works, why it might be less than perfect, and how LASIK surgery changes it.

The Benefits of LASIK
Just imagine being able to read a menu, see the street signs, or read the clock on the wall without glasses or contacts! For many people, clear vision without help seemed impossible, until advancements in LASIK made it more accessible and safer than ever before. After just a few minutes, you can see the world in a new light with clear vision. Just think about what life would be like without the hassle of worrying where you put your glasses, or the daily routine of cleaning and putting in contacts. And just think of the money you’ll save over your lifetime when you don’t have to order new glasses and lenses. The possibilities are endless! If you’re an active person, you’ll no longer have to worry about your eyes when you’re running, swimming, or playing sports. Glasses and contacts are fine for temporary correction, but nothing comes close to natural vision. Just ask anyone who’s had LASIK. It’s like a whole new world!

May Day

Today is May Day and is a public holiday. In case you all do not know why we celebrated May Day and treated as a public holiday please read below.

May Day is celebrated and recognized as the International Workers’ day, chosen over 100 years ago to commemorate the struggles and gains of workers and the labour movement. Most notable reasons to celebrate are the 8-hour day, Saturday as part of the weekend, improved working conditions and child labor laws. But these gains were not attained without the solidarity of workers.

As workers, we must recognize and commemorate May Day not only for its historical significance, but also as a time to organize and speak out around issues that are impacting working-class people today.

Through the many artistic disciplines of the festival, May Week provides people with the information, education and inspiration to make positive changes in our local and global communities.

Champion League

Chelsea 3-2 Liverpool (4-3)

Didier Drogba bagged a brace as Chelsea swept into
their first Champions League final at the expense of Liverpool on a night of high drama at Stamford Bridge.

The Ivorian opened the scoring with a 12-yard strike, but Fernando Torres's drive sent the game into extra-time.

Frank Lampard restored the lead from the spot after Michael Ballack had been felled, before Drogba prodded a third.

Ryan Babel's 35-yarder prompted a tense finale, but Chelsea held on to seal a tie with Manchester United in Moscow.
